Lise’s First Brünnhilde Announced
Lise will make her international role debut as Brünnhilde in Die Walküre in March 2027, as part of the Salzburg Easter Festival’s 60th anniversary programme.
Lise will be joined by Christopher Maltman as Wotan in a production directed by Kirill Serebrennikov, with the Berlin Philharmonic led by chief conductor Kirill Petrenko.
The first-ever Salzburg Easter Festival opened with Richard Wagner’s “Der Ring des Nibelungen,” and the company has begun a new cycle this season to celebrate its 60th anniversary.
The performances of Die Walküre will be between March 20th and March 29th, 2027.
