Sommernachtkonzert 2024: With Andris Nelsons

The Vienna Philharmonic has announced the programme for their prestigious Summer Night Concert, which will take place in Schönbrunn Palace park on June 7th 2024, at 8:30PM

This year's concert will be conducted by Maestro Andris Nelsons and Lise will sing Dich, teure Halle, grüß ich wieder from Wagner’s Tannhäuser and Pace, pace, mio Dio from Verdi's La forza del destino.

Vienna Philharmonic chairman Daniel Froschauer said: “The first Summer Night Concert took place in 2004 – exactly 20 years ago – and even today, the concept of making classical music accessible to the widest possible audience, as a gift to music lovers everywhere, still characterizes this event."

Viewers can experience the Summer Night Concert 2024 in person - as around 100,000 people do every year - or can watch it on TV, or see it live-streamed on the internet.

The ORF will broadcast the concert time-delayed beginning at 9.20 PM on ORF 2.

3sat will broadcast the concert time-delayed on June 7 beginning at 9.45 PM

Further information on how to attend the concert, or watch it, can be found on the Vienna Philharmonic’s website: www.wienerphilharmoniker.at/en/summernightconcert
